Founded in Porto Alegre (RS), SOGEL has roots in European engineering and consolidated itself as a national reference in the execution of highly complex public works, starting its journey with the construction of the iconic Bridge over the Guaíba River, contracted in 1954 with DAER.
This work became a postcard of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, revealing to the world the beauty and structural intelligence of its engineering, which remains the only one of this size built to this day in Brazil.
